Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SchedMate platform ("SchedMate", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SchedMate.
1. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
- SchedMate may offer a 7-day free trial. Trial eligibility and duration may change over time.
- After the trial ends, access to certain features may be limited until you subscribe.
- Paid plans may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Billing is processed through third-party payment providers (for example, PayPal). We do not store full payment card details.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your billing settings (when available).
- Taxes may apply depending on your location and payment method.
3. Refunds
Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we’ll review your request.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. For example, you must not:
- Attempt to break, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform.
- Upload malicious code or abuse the system.
- Use SchedMate in a way that violates laws or the rights of others.
- Use the service to collect, store, or process sensitive information unlawfully.
5. Your Data
- You own the client, booking, and business data you input into SchedMate.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and process that data.
- We may provide tools to export your data (availability may depend on plan and system capability).
6. Advertising & Analytics
To promote SchedMate and measure marketing performance, we may use analytics and advertising tools (including tools offered by Meta/Facebook/Instagram). These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to measure conversions, build audiences, and improve ad delivery.
By using our website and services, you acknowledge that such technologies may be used as described in our Privacy Policy, and you agree that data may be processed by third-party providers according to their own terms and policies.
7. Third-Party Services
The service may integrate with third-party services (such as payment providers and analytics/advertising tools). Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Intellectual Property
SchedMate and its software, designs, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or brand assets without permission.
9. Service Availability
We work to keep SchedMate reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using SchedMate at any time. If you cancel a paid plan, access may continue until the end of the current billing period (subject to billing provider processing).
11. Disclaimers
SchedMate is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties that the service will meet your specific requirements or be error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SchedMate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law rules.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice within the product or on our website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
